Gifted has been working with Mustafa since he was a 13-year-old poet in Toronto. We had the honour of producing his When Smoke Rises gathering in Los Angeles! Every aspect of this event was aimed at creating a sacred space for the presentation of his incredible album. We invited grassroots org Trap Heals and Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors to co-present the gathering with us. Angelina Jolie, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Tessa Thompson, Metro Boomin, 6lack, Ramy Youssef, Mustafa’s fans and a beautiful community were in attendance.

Gifted team helped coordinate Nicki Minaj’s first appearance at Trinidad & Tobago Carnival. Nicki is of Trini heritage, so it was a huge moment for the country and culture to have her return home!

As a trusted leader in the Caribbean Music scene, Nicki's team at WME reached out to Gifted to help her secure a private Villa, a costume with leading Carnival band, Tribe Carnival, and safe access to the parade to experience the mas and capture footage for an upcoming project.

One of Gifted’s premier management clients, Machel Montano released his 45th studio album, G.O.A.T., which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Reggae Chart. Gifted co-executive produced the album.

Provided management & creative consulting services for Mustafa the Poet’s first poetry album.

Booked Mustafa on a stadium tour with We Day, an international development charity and youth empowerment movement. Mustafa performed his poetry nightly to 20K+ elementary-aged students.

We also took him to Kenya with the organization to learn about the education programs and schools they were building there.

Capably headlined by Montano, who has been on a heat-seeking mission with manager Che Kothari to cross soca music into the mainstream -- recently playing Coachella with Major Lazer and bringing soca to the White House for the first time last month -- borrowed elements of a typical OVO fest, which was to bring out a relentless string of previously unannounced special guests.”
