Mustafa

Gifted’s relationship with Mustafa began when he was a 12-year-old poet in Toronto. Over eight years of management, we helped shape a foundation for his voice, producing a poetry album and his first sold-out poetry event, securing appearances at more than six stadium shows and opening slots for major artists, speaking engagements and supporting charitable trips to Kenya.

As he stepped into music and new management, our role evolved, producing gatherings that bring the intimacy and power of his work to life. For When Smoke Rises, we created a sacred space in Los Angeles, co-presented with Trap Heals and Black Lives Matter co-founder Patrisse Cullors. The sold-out gathering brought fans together with artists and cultural figures including Angelina Jolie, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Tessa Thompson and more. We carried that spirit into sold-out shows at a New York church and Toronto’s legendary Massey Hall.

For his album Dunya, we produced intimate listening parties across multiple cities and another sold-out Toronto show at Roy Thomson Hall.
